The Virginia Department of Transportation contractors will be conducting test hole operations on Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8,, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., for the proposed West Monroe Street realignment. This work will be conducted in the travel lanes of West Lee Highway, near the intersection of West Lee Highway and West Monroe Street. Lane closures and altered traffic patterns can be expected during the time these operations are being conducted. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel during the posted times.
