10best.com has nominated the Virginia Creeper Trail for Favorite Recreational Trail in North America.
During the pandemic, the Creeper Trail, which runs from Abingdon to North Carolina, has seen a 30% increase in usage as more people are taking advantage of the great outdoors.
The editors of 10Best USA Today put together a list of 20 trails for readers to vote on.
Polls close on Monday, Feb. 15, at noon. The top 10 trails on the list, determined by reader votes, will be announced on Feb. 26.

As of Monday, the Creeper Trail was at No. 4. In first place was The Chuck Huckelberry Loop in Tucson, Arizona.
