Chilhowie fell just shy in a high-flying, high-scoring affair against Richlands on Saturday.
The Blue Torando claimed a 15-13 non-district victory, breaking open a tie in the top of a final frame.
Richlands finished with 20 hits on the night and the Warriors rang up 10.
