The Town of Wytheville accepts credit/debit cards for the payment of municipal fees for town services, payment of taxes, etc. For the past number of years, the Town of Wytheville was able to accept credit /debit cards without charging a convenience fee. However, with recent changes in the banking industry, we can no longer accept credit/debit cards without charging a convenience fee. Effective January 1, 2022, there will be a convenience fee charged for any transactions made to credit/debit cards at Town of Wytheville municipal facilities. We have not been informed yet by the credit card processor what the percentage amount of the transaction will be. We will announce this fee as soon as we have this information.
