The Fisher family, owners of the landmark Dutch Pantry in Rural Retreat, announced on Wednesday that they had sold the store and were moving to North Carolina.
Mike and Verna Fisher posted to Facebook that the family plans to join a ministry – Gospel Express – as a full-time singing/prison/ministry team.
“We are excited to see what all God has in store for us,” the Fishers wrote on the Dutch Pantry Facebook page.
One of the new owners of Dutch Pantry is a Mike Fisher’s brother. In addition, all recipes will stay the same, the page said.
