The Emory & Henry College women’s golf team kept its season rolling on Monday at the UVA-Wise Invitational. The Wasps continue to improve with every round they play this spring.Freshman Emily Smelcer set a new Emory & Henry record for a single round, shooting an 83 (+12) to beat the previous best by four strokes. She finished the tournament tied for 12th.
Freshman McKenna Quillen posted a new collegiate best, carding a +26 (97) to finish tied for 26th overall.
