E&H present Christmas programs

A family-friendly English opera of Hansel and Gretel promises to deliver the magic of the season on Friday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the McGlothlin Center for the Arts on the Emory & Henry campus.

Join the German fanfare at the pre-show event at 6:30 p.m. including:

  • Tasty German Stollen, other finger foods and hard cider for adults
  • Gingerbread making station and prizes for children
  • Holiday Jazz Band and festive decorations for all

The Christmas season continues at the arts center at E&H on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. with an evening of choral music including the Christmas portion of Handel’s famous oratorio “The Messiah.”

The Community Choir through Emory & Henry, led by Professor Natalie Shaffer, will be joined by special guest soloists and a chamber orchestra to bring this joyful music to life!
