E&H track titles fall at WildCat

The Emory & Henry College track & field teams saw three school records go down along with 19 top-10 performances at Randolph College’s WildCat Track Festival Saturday.

Senior Conor White broke two Emory & Henry records, going 4:07.11 to finish second in the 1,500 meters and 1:58.64 in the 800 meters which was good for third.
– Freshman Orryn McGlone was seventh in the 100 meters and 10th in the 400 meters. Marion Senior High School graduate freshman Kesean Goins of Sugar Grove took eighth in the 100 meters.
– Junior Edward Rajner posted a runner-up finish in the discus (42.99m) and was third in the shot put at 12.97 meters and fifth in the hammer throw (38.01m) while junior Donovan Pinnix grabbed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.06 meters in his first outing of the year. He was also 10th in the discus at 33.89 meters.
– Junior Body Fields and sophomore Justin Brown were seventh and ninth in the shot put, respectively.

– Junior Lorin Zehr set a new record in the shot put with a throw of 10.06 meters to finish sixth. She was fifth in the hammer throw (32.33m) and sixth in the discus (27.22m).
– Freshman Annalyse McHone took third in the 5,000 meters, stopping the watches in 20:54.12 while freshman Madeline Bishop claimed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:46.01.
