The inaugural Kiwanis Club of Wythe County 5K event is set for Saturday, May 7! All proceeds from this event benefit the Kiwanis Club of Wythe County. Walkers are welcome, too! The race will begin just below the parking circle between Wytheville Community College and Wytheville Meeting Center, while ending in the lower WCC lot (in front of Bland and Grayson Halls). Parking will be available in the upper lots close to Smyth Hall (across from the pond on Commonwealth Drive). Restrooms will be available in the lower half of Carroll Hall. Timing and finish line services will be managed by Run Roanoke. Awards will go to the Top 3 overall male and Top 3 overall female runners, plus the top 3 runners in the following age groups (both male and female): 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
