The nation’s top Main Street and Economic Development professionals will be in Virginia’s state capitol May 16-18, and Marion is on the Main Stage.
The three-day event, “Main Street Now”, is a partnership between Main Street America and the Virginia Main Street Program, will bring immersive content about building vibrancy and economic opportunity in downtowns and commercial districts, as well as networking opportunities, tours of local Main Streets, and more.
Marion’s team of Ken Heath, director of Community and Economic Development, and Charles Harrington, executive director of Marion Redevelopment and Housing Authority, will present Marion’s Project BAUD, showcasing the community-s efforts to improve housing opportunities and eliminate blight throughout town.
