Kruger Brothers to headline Song of the Mountains

The Kruger Brothers will bring their songs of Europe to the Lincoln stage on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 7 p.m.

Originating in Europe, the Kruger Brothers made their American debut in 1997 at MerleFest and moved to the states in 2003, mixing the sounds of American and European folk music.

Along the way, the band has performed at countless festivals across the world.

Supporting the Kruger Brothers will be Sam Wheelock, who is an authentic part of the heritage of the music of the southern Appalachians.

Also on stage will be acoustic duo Lee Street Lyrical, which was founded in 2018 by ward-winning songwriters and musicians Buddy Case and Casey Penn.

Case was named the 2021 ACMA Guitar Player of the Year.

Joe Hott will also support. Hott is poised to become a must-see, must-hear new face with his unique blend of retro bluegrass, traditional country, gospel music and Appalachian mountain music.

Tickets are $40 for premium and $35 for orchestra seating.
