Molly Hatchet readies for the Lincoln stage

THE SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA SUN NEWSPAPER AND NEWS WEBSITE

The iconic Southern Rock legends, Molly Hatchet, are gearing up for a performance at The Lincoln Theatre on Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Joining them as the opening act is the dynamic Peacemaker, promising an unforgettable evening of pure rock energy.

Known for their powerhouse performances and timeless hits, Molly Hatchet is set to captivate fans with a show that blends classic favorites with the unveiling of a brand new song.

The band recorded their latest masterpiece, “Firing Line,” at the historic Abbey Road Studios in the UK, marking a significant milestone in their illustrious career.

Produced by Molly Hatchet’s own Bobby Ingram, “Firing Line” was engineered by Chris Bolster, recognized for his work with musical legends such as Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, and Elton John. The track was then mastered by the skilled hands of Lucy Launder and Alex Wharton, who have previously collaborated with Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones.

Bobby Ingram shares his thoughts on “Firing Line”: “Throughout history, humanity has fought to stand up for what is right and defend the wrongfully accused. ‘Firing Line’ is a depiction of standing up for yourself on that fine line between the truth and being falsely accused by the system, and by doing so, standing up for yourself to protect your integrity and fight for what is right.”

Fans can expect a night filled with the unmistakable Southern Rock sound that has defined Molly Hatchet’s legacy.

Joining them on stage is Peacemaker, adding their own brand of energy to kick off the evening. Hailing from the heart of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Peacemaker is a hard hittin’, whiskey-drinkin’ southern rock band that brings an authentic, down-home sound to the stage.

Tickets are available now, and Southern Rock enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their seats for a night that promises to be a celebration of music and the enduring spirit of rock and roll.
