Fort Chiswell held off Rural Retreat to take first in their own Danny Jonas Memorial Christmas Tournament.

Northwood fell to Eastern Montgomery 42-23. The Panthers trailed by six at the half, but couldn’t hold off a 16-7 run in the final frame.
Over in Gatlinburg, George Wythe’s girls finished fifth in the Smoky Mountain Christmas Tournament, wrapping play up with a 49-30 win over Trimble County.
