The Library of Virginia LVA On the Go will be at the Smyth County Public Library’s main Marion branch on Saturday, April 20. The LVA customized van will be at the Marion facility from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
While in Marion, the LVA team will offer advice on researching family history, accept applications for LVA library cards, share local history resources from the LVA collection, and demonstrate LVA online collections. All sessions are free and open to the public. The visit is part of Smyth County’s preparation for VA 250, the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in 2026.
