Opening Celebration Settlers Museum of Southwest Virginia

Come to the Settlers Museum of Southwest Virginia for a day of history, nature, food and fun for the entire family on April 20. Activities include hay rides, tours of the historic farm, games for kids, a lesson in the 1894 one-room schoolhouse, nature walks on birds, trees, and medicinal and edible plants, and much more. Lunch is provided, and door prizes will be given out. The fun starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration at the visitor’s center at 1322 Rocky Hollow Road, Atkins. Entrance and all activities are free of charge.
