Galax couldn’t get enough offense going to overcome a sluggish George Wythe team.
The Lady Maroons grabbed a 7-2 lead in the first and led only by 10 at the half – 20-10.
By the final buzzer, GW had more than enough to win, besting Galax 35-23.
Amarrah Carter-Bennett led the GW charge with 12 points.
The win pits GW against a familiar foe, Fort Chiswell, who demolished Parry McCluer 65-34 in another semifinal matchup.
