The Blue Tornado boys started building early, jumping to a three-run lead in the bottom of the first. By the bottom of the third, Richlands held a 6-1 lead.
The Blues were able to hold on, squelching a fifth-inning rally to claim a 6-5 Southwest District victory.
The Lady Blues swiped a 7-2 win off Marion, with Arin Rife fanning 17 Lady Canes.
Marion was piloted by Taylor Preston, who struck out seven in the loss.
